TOFU is the new album by Caloncho — a collection of songs that make us feel at home, embraced by melodies that delight both the ears and the mind. Each track carries a unique flavor, exploring the romantic, kind, fun, reflective, and organic essence of the Mexican singer-songwriter’s message; a full-course meal for the heart.The menu is diverse in this TOFU buffet, and since starting with dessert is our thing, Caloncho opens the album with "Superdeli", a delicious tropical bachata that sweetens love itself.As the second course, we get "Wacha Checa", a refreshing ballad like mint, reminding us to see and appreciate the world around us. Then comes "Fresh", a rhythmic song that invites us to tap into something primal: to move, to dance, and to be seen in order to feel good.Bitterness is also part of life, and in the double track "De día bien, De noche mal", we find that essential contrast that helps us see the light in the dark.
