“Miles Of Time” on tour .CARL CARLTON & MELANIE WIEGMANN return with Miles Of Time, their second collaborative
album, released on January 23, 2026, and accompanied by a tour of the same name.
Their debut album Glory Of Love (2023) received an enthusiastic response and entered
the Top 50 of the German album charts. With Miles Of Time, CARLTON and WIEGMANN deepen
their musical connection, presenting a work full of intensity, depth, and stylistic
diversity. Moving between rhythm & blues, Americana, and soul, they reinterpret forgotten

At the heart of the album is this special artistic symbiosis: CARL CARLTON’s virtuosic yet
sensitive guitar playing and his distinctive, gritty voice merge with MELANIE WIEGMANN’s
emotional and authentic vocals, creating an intensity that is equally compelling on record
and on stage.CARL CARLTON is an internationally acclaimed guitarist, songwriter, and producer. His
musical journey has taken him from Friesland through the Netherlands, England, and the USA,
leading to collaborations with artists such as Herman Brood, Manfred Mann, Eric Burdon,
Joe Cocker, and Willy DeVille. German rock icons including Udo Lindenberg, Peter Maffay, and
Marius Müller-Westernhagen have also worked with him over several decades. He shared a close
friendship with Robert Palmer, with whom he wrote and produced the GRAMMY-nominated album
Drive, which also marked the beginning of his solo career. His connection with Levon Helm
(The Band) was equally influential. Both as a solo artist and with CARL CARLTON & The Songdogs,
he has gained international recognition. Rooted stylistically in Americana and blues, he was
awarded the Blues-Louis in 2024.MELANIE WIEGMANN is a versatile singer, pianist, and actress with a distinctive mezzo-soprano
voice. She works across genres including classical, jazz, musical theatre, and chanson, and
is active in recording studios as well as on stage and screen. She gained widespread recognition
through her six-year role in the TV series Sturm der Liebe. On stage, she has appeared in
productions such as Mamma Mia! and Cabaret, and as a member of the ensemble of the
Staatstheater Nürnberg in leading and character roles. She also works as a voice actress,
though her greatest passion remains singing.CARL CARLTON & MELANIE WIEGMANN are joined by an outstanding band, featuring Brian Mitchell on
keyboards, accordion, and vocals (Bob Dylan, Levon Helm, B.B. King, among others), and Yoyo Röhm
