Bonnet later joined the Michael Schenker Group, delivering a stunning performance on the album Assault Attack, widely regarded as MSG’s finest work. During the same period he formed Alcatrazz, scoring again with songs like Hiroshima Mon Amour.
Today, Bonnet continues to perform worldwide with an outstanding voice and electrifying stage presence. His shows feature a mix of his solo material, Rainbow classics, the full Assault Attack repertoire and the best of Alcatrazz. From June/July 2026 onward, he will also introduce brand-new songs.
New album – summer 2026
The upcoming album will include a collaboration with Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden and a track featuring Kai Hansen of Helloween. In addition, two songs will feature former musical partners – two major ’70s/’80s rock names to be announced soon.
