The Undercoversessies were initiated by Fonz Scheepstra at De Hip in Deventer. Since their inception in 2002, these Undercoversessies have grown into a nationwide phenomenon and have been a staple at Zwarte Cross for 14 years. Now, the Undercoversessies are coming to Q-Factory!On February 13, Bauke Bakker will kick off the Undercoversessies. Leave performing an impressive tribute to the music of Sting and The Police to Bauke Bakker & The Soul Cages.
From a young age, Bauke was deeply influenced by the music of The Police and the solo work of their frontman, Sting.
This influence has shaped him significantly: you can hear Sting's distinctive sound in Bauke's voice, and his drumming is inspired by the inimitable style of The Police's drummer, Stewart Copeland.
